DungeonBreak on HexenWorld!

We are finally here! You have probably heard a lot about the mod from Desperado and crew over time on the HexenWorld message board/forums. Now you can read all about it at this site!

We are very excited about converting the famous Jailbreak mod for Quake 2 over to Hexen II. A good number of things have been accomplished thus far, but there is still plenty of work to be done! Feel free to contact Desperado if you would like to be involved in the making of this fun mod or should you have any other questions or comments.

Where Things Stand

We have one completed level by Landar. It might not be included because he can not modify the level if needed due to a computer error.

We also have one completed level by Desperado and two more to be finished. One of them is huge and he is having problems with it. He is also having a few problems with Quark 5 beta 9. If anyone could help, he would greatly appreciate it!

Another level is due in from BludBath if he has time with his programming and other things. Teppic should also be providing a level.

It looks like we are going to use the CTF skins, as Millenium does not have the time to do some custom ones for us. Bummer!

Programming can not feasibly be started until we get the final version of the HexenWorld source code. Come on Raven! :)

Despite a few setbacks, everything is going at a decent rate. Many thanks to Ancient1 of Serpent's Wrath for providing the groovy new logo!

Site Revamp

Having neglected this site for some time, I thought I would give it a face-lift. The design will resemble The Barbican that adopted the HexenWorld look. This format will make designing easier for me and I hope it will appeal to the audience out there.

Site Update

You should see a better-looking site now. Thanks to Desperado for providing some cool graphics! I have added some items to the Files section: Fonts (i.e., AntiquaSSi) used to enhance the look of this site, the first DungeonBreak level and some related screenshots.

Welcome to DungeonBreak!

This exciting mod, based on Quake 2 Jailbreak, will soon be under development to enhance an already great game, Hexen II. The objective of the game is to capture all of the enemy players and have them summarily put to death. All you have to do is frag the opposition one-by-one (or en masse) to place them into your prison. Once the entire enemy is confined, hear them scream in agony! However, you may find yourself captured and await certain doom....

Depending on how the levels are designed, prisoners can attempt escape with a sufficient number of players. Otherwise, you must wait for your teammates to come and rescue your sorry behind. No doubt, this mod definitely demands more than great individual players, it requires TEAMWORK!
