Support For HeXen II
Posted
by JayCee on Thursday,
December 28, 2000
aGSM an alternative Game
Server Monitor has support for HeXen II. I downloaded the program
which is very small and you can add your own servers. Its a
lifetime freeware product so theres no naging register screens.
If your not sure how to use the product there is great support
on the website. Heres more info about the software:
aGSM is alternative Game Server Monitor, a new way
to quickly find and monitor multiplayer servers for many most
popular games. It's a small 32bit multithreaded Windows95/98/2000
program using WinSock2 (the new network connectivity standard).
Our ultimate goal is to give gamers a complete toolbox for
all their multiplayer gaming needs - a one small, fast, reliable,
and handy freeware tool.
You can download it by clicking here.
On the forums
you can request a game to be added to the software if it isn't
there.
Play
Regular HeXen II Via Praevus!
Posted
by wmull on Tuesday,
December 26, 2000
For those of you who never figured out how to play the original
HeXen II singleplayer game with the Mission Pack .exe,
you will be glad to get this information, by way of Acheron's
Korax:
Bring up the console and type: m_oldmission 1
Now you know why there's a gap in the menu above "View Intro".
On the main menu you'll also now see "Old Mission".
I just ran the original MP exe typed that and TADA!
It's a undiscovered CVAR, that is also saved automatically
to the cfg, so you dont have to set it each time.
Now, hows that for a by-accident, kick-ass discovery? :)

like to see in his HeXen II project. So get posting your

Hexen2 source (vs the Mission Pack source that was in the
original release) as well as some utility source that I left
